Health, Freedom, the Right to Choose, and the Right to Life
I believe Australians have the right to make informed decisions about their health without government coercion. The last few years have shown us how quickly those rights can be stripped away, and how little transparency exists at the highest levels of public health policy.
No one should be forced into medical decisions to keep their job, cross a border, or visit a loved one. During the COVID-19 pandemic, people were threatened, silenced, and punished for asking fair questions. That’s not how a free country should operate. I stood firmly against mandates and lockdowns that went too far, and I continue to call for full scrutiny of the decisions made.
We need proper accountability for how governments handled COVID. Billions were spent on rushed responses, often with little debate or public oversight. Censorship silenced doctors, nurses, and everyday Australians who simply wanted honest answers. This cannot be allowed to happen again.
I also believe in protecting life, including the lives of unborn children. Abortion is not health care, and the right to choose does not include the right to end another life. The laws that allow abortion up to birth in some parts of Australia are among the most extreme in the world. I support rolling back these laws to restore balance, compassion, and responsibility to how we treat the most vulnerable among us.
That includes banning sex-selective abortion, providing real counselling and support for pregnant women, restoring full conscientious objection rights to doctors, and ensuring that babies born alive during abortion procedures receive the same medical care as any other newborn.
Medical freedom and the protection of life are cornerstones of a just society. As your voice in Fadden, I’ll fight for choice, transparency, and common sense in every health decision that affects you and your family.
Because no one should be afraid to ask questions, speak their mind, or stand up for what they believe in.
